I CAME, I SAW, I'M GOING TO NEED A MONTH TO CATCH UP ON THE LOST SLEEP

Smart women. Savvy women. One thousand of them. With the collective intention to be better in some way, for some reason.

There were lots of reasons for me not to go. Like the memorial service that I was missing. And the wedding anniversary that I would not spend with my husband. And when I got there my computer had some major issues and would not connect.

I could have stayed lost in the fear and guilt. I could have turned around and gone home. It would not have been hard.

Instead I met women who inspire me. Women whom I admire. Women who made me feel like I'd known them forever.

And after a while I felt like I was exactly where I needed to be.

But seriously, I'm gonna need to take a nap tomorrow.

So. Damn. Tired.

PS: Is it just me, or do you go ape-shit crazy for free crap that you don't need? Why? Why, god, why? There is no room for me in my bed because it is covered in SWAG. Do me a favor. Hit me in the head with a ball peen hammer if I do this again next year. Thanks in advance.

It was wonderful meeting you this weekend! I consider myself a cupcake connoisseur and am a little covetous of your job.

And no, it's not just you going crazy for the free crap. Fortunately, I didn't allow myself much room in my luggage to bring stuff home (damn high heels!) as a means of cutting down on swag overload. It was still hard deciding if I should keep the clown nose...

So great to meet you this weekend. I haven't really even been able to put my experience at BlogHer in a REAL post yet. Except to say I am now cracked out on Twitter, thank you blogher much. Anyway, gotcha on the swag obsession. Am wearing one of the T-shirts now. Yay me. ...lordy.

Um, yeah, it was pretty damn awesome. I just got up from a nap and haven't unpacked. I'm also perusing the list of domain names I purchased while, um, after a few drinks. Did I really need electromute.me?

Ingrid - so fun. So freeing to hang in the Macy's furniture and bring it. Straight up. No twist.

I'm interested to know what other domains you purchased. ElectroCute.org? HelloKittyisaBitch.net?
The mind reels as to drunken domain shopping...

I think I am finally recovered from the weekend of absolute bliss and going ape-shit crazy for swag. I have four of those Saving Grace t-shirts, as well as two of everything from the PBS table. Not to mention an alcohol induced haze that I can't seem to shake. Oh wait... hold on... nevermind... just needed to wipe my glasses.

I am so glad you didn't turn back around. Really glad to have met you and to be reading your Crummy Cupcake.

Still tired, and there's still swag all over the place. And I still don't quite understand all of what happened this weekend. But I'm so very glad you didn't get off the train and return to the mountain.

It was so nice to meet you. I too have been napping everyday. I don't think I will ever catch up on sleep.
